I finally ran a cable for my internet down to the basement, where my studio is. Before, my studio computer was connected to via Wi-Fi. But now, due to some mysterious occurrence, the Wireless is down and thus I finally had an excuse to try and wire it. So, with the Pops helping (he actually knows what he is doing with construction and all via being an ex-contractor), I got a cable down here. Finally, actual fast internet.
Simply went to classes today and worked out. Nothing exciting. I want to do something this week in the worst way. I'm starting to get Cabin Fever and winter has just set in. Ugh. Going to be a looooonnnngggg, cold, dark winter. I'm gonna want to actually be active, instead of sitting around freezing. Sarah's probably going to get sick of me dragging her around to billions of activities. I just do not handle doing nothing for long periods of time very well. I hate it. Besides, it's way more fun when you've got someone to actually share the spur-of-the-moment wacky fun stuff.
I need a snowmachine this year. Or like, fight Zombies.
Alaska is meant for adventures and I'm ready to start Adventure Season! Throw the sandbags in the back of my truck, grab some clothes and head off for the entire day. I need to do this. Perhaps this weekend.
Life, however, is still good. Driving home from my classes in my truck, listening to my new Joe Purdy CD and watching the Sun shine off the heavily frosted trees is awesome. It's just good.
To quench my desire to be more active, I've decided I'm going to start my swimming back up. I'm due for a re-cert on my Lifeguarding certificates and I need to practice my lap swims again before I take all the classes once more. This time, I'm going to do my WSI (Water Safety Instructor), which is just a fancy way of saying that you can teach swimming classes. Working out at the Club is all good but I need more. Maybe when I start that Personal Trainer, it'll be better. I'm really wishing there was a sports team I could join. Wasilla just doesn't have it's opportunities. Perhaps I should get back into Martial Arts.
I'm rambling now. Better sign out,
