Weird weather today. It's been raining and freezing all morning, creating a vast ice sheet. I left the house early to arrive at my morning classes and saw several emergency vehicles go past, warning lights creating a weird blur in the rain and dark. When I got on campus, the parking lot was solid ice. Inside, there was a massive gathering of students as it was rumored they were going to have to shutdown the campus and postpone the class outing.
Sure enough, the Parks Highway was such a mess that the radio was advising people to not go to work and stay home. They shutdown campus and so I got to be home at 10:00. Nice little reprieve, I sorely needed it. Cramming in my math problems, I have almost two hundred math exercises to finish up and a take-home Mathematics test. Another test on Tuesday. I'm not looking forward to it. Not at all.
