Only two more weeks until the end of semester; I'll be so happy. I'm really looking forward to being done with these classes. Currently, I have a paper in Anthropology that's four to six pages long due tomorrow, a rough draft two to three pages long due in Mythology tomorrow, another two to three final report due to tomorrow in Mythology, a seven to ten research paper on the need to decentralize education due Tuesday in English and two final exams on May 8th. Crazy.
The research paper is very interesting though. It's really leading me into some fascinating research on decentralization theories in our government. I'm becoming a big fan of the Articles of Confederation. In a way, I'm kinda glad I'll (most likely) be going to Hillsdale, a strong conservative background of students is something I'll really enjoy. I'm really looking forward to being around other right-thinking political theorist students!
I'm taking two summer classes, a math class that starts the 8th and a 3d Animation class that I'm really, really, really looking forwards to. I can't wait to start that thing. It offers total 3d animating instructions, all the way to articulation. Should be totally awesome.
Nothing else really to put up here. I had an interesting discussion in Mythology today about feminism and how World War II developed the modern feminist movement. It was a heated discussion, pretty fascinating. Most of the girls I was talking with all supported part-time or full-time employment of women, even when having kids. They said that someone that stays at home would be "bored to death". Another reason why I'm looking forward to going to Hillsdale. I'll actually be around intelligent, Conservative, intellectual right-thinking girls who most likely will be coming from some sort of Protestant background. That's pretty awesome as well.
More later!
